Time Management In Covid

Time Management in COVID Quarantine can become very tricky.

Many times I look at the watch and so many hours have passed by without notice.

That’s why today we are going to look at how you can effectively manage your time while getting Work From Home stuff done, with maximum output.

After struggling in the initial phases of COVID on work efficiency, because of stretched out work hours — I decided to solve it myself.

I read a bunch of books on Time Management, but these 2 below are the ones definitely worth mentioning.

1. What The Most Successful People Do Before Breakfast — by Laura Vanderkam

Morning Routine was what I found to be the most effective. What everyone emphasized is the importance of morning routine.

Another thing everyone suggested which I found very helpful is to learn how to Multi-Task.

Another thing that we lose when we are focused on task-at-hand, while working from home is — we lose track of time.

So, make sure to Track Your Time

If you started at 8 am, make sure to log out of work after 9–10 hours so you can spend time with your kids, family, and wife.

If you don’t take care of your emotional wellbeing — you will not stay productive for long!

Another thing that I have found very helpful in Quarantine, work from home is —

A Standing Desk

It can be a simple sturdy desk but atleast it ensures your body moves and you don’t get lower back pains due to extended bad posture.

Another thing I have seen help people a lot is getting a Treadmill desk for work.

This ensures your body exercises while you are focused on work!
